There's a way that you can eliminate the center channel of a stereo recording and only hear what's going on in the sides, which is what I did for Strawberry Jam.

A stereo recording shouldn't have a center channel.

so it sounds clearer?
oh I see hear more sounds thanks Strawberry Jam is my favorite album of them

Alright, A stereo recording will have common things in the center, usually it's vox, snares, etc. What I did is got rid off all of that. So you really get to hear all the crazy noises and guitars much better.

I think he's talking about center cancellation, which is mainly used for vocal removal but ends up removing a bunch of other stuff as well. Basically you are hearing a misrepresentation of low-mixed sounds, but due to frequency cancellation the sounds will be drastically altered from what they originally sounded like in the full mix.

Pretty much. It's just an interesting way of listening to the album, mainly for hearing things that are usually buried.

Mmm Peacebone sounds amazing :) dude thanks listening to it now

sounds cool, i heard about someone doing this a while back on here (was it you?) and have been wanting to hear it like this since

Well I've been doing a lot of blazing out and listening for things I've never heard on their albums. For example, Deakin alternates the "Ah"s with Avey on Unsolved. Deakin actually does a lot of vocals on SJ and Feels. I'm doing MPP next and then feels. Yeah, I may have talked about this before, who knows hah.
