Lemme dig up something I figured out for a cover. This was before MPP though. Oh before I start: are piano-chords different from guitar chords?

alexander- 03-15-2009

anything is helpful. i am trying to recreate the glory of the studio version though.

Flekey- 03-15-2009

Hmm, lookin back, these weren't very good. And I figured them out in my guitar in open G, and now it's in regular. Maybe in the next couple of days I'll do an effort, if no one else delivers. Sorry to be a tease!

alexander- 03-15-2009

no worries. im just being lazy, dont wanna bust out the keyboard and figure it out.

I have been in and out of the hospital for the past few months and fuck man...what happened here. I've got more samples, more tabs, and a lot of info from rerz to spit. It's been a long time... I need to rest up and situation myself here in McAllen, but you can expect to see some new things in these threads. Also, someone was looking for those Visiting Friends tabs. Yes, I did finish them. Yes, I think they are accurate, no, it does not require an alternate tuning. I'll get back to you guys.

that sucks saul, why have you been goin to the hospital? the samples and tabs are great, take your time man, no rush. can't wait for the visiting friends tabs though, s'gonna be great.

a Slippi tab would be great. from the new sets. you can see his fingers pretty well in this vid around 22:30. i'm just not good w/ weird tunings and i think it is in one http://3voor12.vpro.nl/tv/#/41396395/41723347/1

I was dicking around trying to learn some police song a few months back when I found a pretty satisfying way to play street flash that I thought I'd contribute: Tuning - EADF#BE E---0---0---0 B---0---0---2 F#--0---2---3 D---0---2---2 A---0---2---0 E---0---0---x then the later part I just play B-----5--7--10--3 F#----3--5--8---3 though I could be wrong on that. I usually use pretty heavy squarewave tremolo to cop the sound, maybe delay works better for you?

winter in st. moritz by panda bear (not exactly sure if all of this main part is right) G-----------------------2---------------| D----------------3-----------5---------| (end on 1 on E for the last note) A-------------------5-------------------| E--1--3--5--3--------------------------| 5th fret on e is hit a couple times first e-------------------------------5-5--------| (the 5 5 3 is only sometimes) B---6-6--3-3--5-5--1-1------------3-----| G--------------------------2---------------| (and throw in like other notes that sound right, i don't know.) here's some of it i'm too lazy to figure out every single note, but this is the gist of it

this tab site has a near perfect tab of Also Frightened http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/a/animal_collective/also_frightened_crd.htm I think there's spot in there after C that it goes back to Am really quick. Otherwise this is a really easy fun song to play around with.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXeaYQk3880 Not AC but I'm blind and musically challenged. Can somebody tell me the chords shes using in that video?

Kev(in)- 04-13-2009

Ok, I finally tabbed out Banshee Beat as well as I can: (CHORD 1) e-0 B-x G-4 D-6 A-7 E-0 (CHORD 2) e-0 B-x G-6 D-7 A-9 E-0 (CHORD 3) e-0 B-x G-1 D-2 A-4 E-0 (CHORD 4) e-0 B-x G-8 D-9 A-11 E-0 For the first section (Oh there'll be time...Yours truly) Play this (chord 1, essentially): e----------------------| B----------------------| G----------------------| D---6---6---6---6---6-| A-7---7---7---7-------| E------------------0---| Really lazily through the entire thing, gradually adding in the higher strings (on chord 1) towards the end. Bridge into verses: Chord 1, Chord 2, Chord 1, Chord 3, Chord 1, Chord 2, Chord 4, Chord 2, Chord 1 Chord 3 Someone in my dictionary's up to no good, Chord 1 I never find the very special words I should. Chord 2 And so I have another party with a water glass, Chord 4 and I sit on all your actions, it’s a birthing game. Chord 2 And I bet he needs a shower 'cause he’s just like me, Chord 1 but the soldiers in the painting know your secret face. Chord 3 Well your parrot told me just how I can make you smile. Chord 1 'Gonna let you do your thinkin' if you need a while. Chord 2 But what I gave you made him get mad, Chord 4 a little bit funny how a thing like that Chord 2 could travel through one mouth in through another, Chord 1 and the next thing you know you gotta hear it from your brother. Chord 3 And the words they sting, like a stump of old wasps. Chord 1 Do you remember when I said, "Go throw the rock in there," Chord 2 and we ran through the woods to our good house, Chord 4 but you forgot about the things that he could say like, Chord 2 "I don’t think that I like you anymore, Chord 1 well I found new feelings at the feeling store. Chord 3 And I can't find you at our kissing place; Chord 1 well I’m scared of those new pair of eyes you have." Chord 2 Chord 4 So I duck out, go down to find the swimming pool. Chord 2 Chord 1 Hop the fence, leave the street, and wet your feet to find the swimming pool. Chord 3 Chord 1 'Cause when I'd snuffed out I doubt I’d find the swimming pool. Chord 2 Chord 4 Hop the fence, leave the street, and wet your feet to find the swimming pool. Chord 2 But I don’t wish that I was dead. Chord 1 Now, a very old friend of mine once said Chord 3 that either way you look at it you have your fits, I have my fits, Chord 1 but feeling is good. Chord 2 Confusion's not a kidney stone in my brain. Chord 4 If we’re miscommunicating, do we feel the same? Chord 2 'Cause either way you look at it you have your fits, I have my fits, Chord 1 and feeling is good. Chord 3, Chord 1, Chord 3, Chord 1 Chord 2 Chord 4 So I duck out, go down to find the swimming pool. Chord 2 If you give a little, you can get a little bit. Chord 1 If you give a little, you can get a little bit. Chord 3 If you give a little, you can get a little bit. Chord 1 If you give a little, you can get a little bit. Chord 3, Chord 1, Chord 2, Chord 1 (held until the end) Let me know what you think! AWESOME. But I play it in EG#BEBE tuning instead. So the chords I use are: Chord 1: 0 8 9 7 9 0 Chord 2: 0 10 10 9 10 0 Chord 3: 0 5 5 5 5 5 Chord 4: 0 12 12 12 12 12

working on a proper 'doggy'. i'm pretty sure it's in open C# begins with this 0 0 4 0 5 5 then switches to this at "tree" x x 2 4 4 4 then switches to something like this at "down" 0 0 0 2 2 2 i don't know what comes next but the "nice doggy i miss you kissing from my palm" chords are these 0 0 7 9 9 9 and 0 0 5 7 7 7 then back to the first chord. all i got basically. i'm missing a few key chords that i cant figure out but you can get the gist of it. i think this is more accurate than the one that was on a few pages back. hopefully someone better at figuring out songs can help me along...i need to play this whole song. NEED TO

Flekey- 05-04-2009

I got mine in OpenC# C# G# C# F G# c# But it doens't sound right at all. Maybe I'm reading your tab upside down, I don't know. How's yours tuned?
