Nothing positive. :( When listening to the end of Peacebone on the SJ vinyl, my mum walked in and asked "Is it stuck?". My friend thinks they're quite literally the worst band ever, he HATES them (we don't share many bands, to put it mildly). None of my friends that I've made listen to them like them ("I can't hear the melody" in Peacebone. "This is the worst song ever" to Fireworks), and the others that haven't heard them don't know them. :( Never mind not having anyone that likes AC, I don't have anyone with remotely similar music tastes to myself! (ie. good taste ;P)

The chorus to winter wonderland was my away message once, and i guess my friend saw it and thought it was interesting so he looked it up youtube. He messaged me later and said "thank you, this is the most incredibly interesting thing I've ever heard" I burnt (burned?) him feels and sj but I'm not sure he actually listens to it much. he did say he downloaded most of their disco. but hasn't gotten around to listening yet. i'm just glad he didn't hate it. He mostly listens to folk-punk, and the only music we have in common is sonic youth, my bloody valentine, and modest mouse, + some e6 stuff.

about a month ago i burned feels for my biffle. she says she hasn't really listened to it much yet, but it's "not too hard to get into and surprisingly pretty. i like the beginning of the first song because it reminds me of mermaids." haha mermaids? she also listened to little bit of sj when i played it a few months ago and she said peacebone was catchy. she didn't seem too psyched about it though. :? i'm hoping she'll come around eventually; she really liked person pitch, and she generally likes anything i like. and then i'll FINALLY know someone in real life who likes ac so i can share my obsession.

you guys are all so unlucky. only a few of my friends dislike ac and quite a few of them really enjoy them. and my dad even likes most of their records.

how do some people just like ac a little bit, or in an okayish way? i mean, ac is beyond incredible. whats to like when theres so much to love

Ya so usually coworkers ask me to change the cd at work or they just come up and turn it off which i always end up doing before they even ask now. so i left my ac mix in the cd player at work over the weekend. When i came back it was on the ground behind the prep table scratched to hell. :cry: MUST DESTROY THEIR PHIL COLLINS / BEATLES MIX :twisted:

most of my friends fucking hate the shit out of ac but one of my friends who lives like 20 minutes away, so i never chill with him, loves the shit like i do we were gonna go to p4k : ( that didnt happen

today i was listening to "safer" and my little sister was pretty much literally offended/traumatized she concluded that it was "gregorian chant shit," saying "if you listened to this in public, people would literally be afraid of you." it was pretty awesome

I was talking to a friend online and they told me they thought Animal Collective was good. YES!!! I wish I had known she liked them, I would have dragged her to P4K with me.
